Magnolia platyphylla merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Magnoliaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Filipina (Leyte, Mindanao, Zamboanga). Nama ilmiah Magnolia platyphylla diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Elmer Drew Merrill pada tahun 2004.
