Malacothamnus palmeri adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Malvaceae (suku kapas-kapasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah California (San Luis Obisp County). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan palmer's bushmallow. Nama ilmiah Malacothamnus palmeri pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Sereno Watson pada tahun 1906.
