Malacothrix floccifera adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang California hingga Nevada. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan woolly desertdandelion. Nama ilmiah Malacothrix floccifera pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Sidney Fay Blake pada tahun 1924.
