ROYAL ADDER'S-MOUTH ORCHID Malaxismajor (Rchb.f.) León ex A.D.Hawkes
Malaxis major adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk umbi semu (pseudobulbous). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Puerto Rico, Guadeloupe, Dominica. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan royal adder's-mouth orchid. Nama ilmiah Malaxis major pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Heinrich Gustav Reichenbach pada tahun 1950.
