Malesherbia humilis var. propinqua merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Passifloraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Chili (Coquimbo). Nama ilmiah Malesherbia humilis var. propinqua pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Claude Gay pada tahun 1897.
