Mallotus decipiens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Bangladesh hingga China (Yunnan barat daya) dan Semenanjung Malaysia. Nama ilmiah Mallotus decipiens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johannes Müller Argoviensis pada tahun 1865.
