Malvella lepidota adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Malvaceae (suku kapas-kapasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Nevada hingga Texas dan Meksiko. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan scurfymallow. Nama ilmiah Malvella lepidota diperkenalkan oleh Asa Gray pada tahun 1974.
