Mapania cuspidata merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah. Nama ilmiah Mapania cuspidata diperkenalkan oleh Friedrich Anton Wilhelm Miquel pada tahun 1939.
