Mapania floribunda merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Seychelles. Nama ilmiah Mapania floribunda diperkenalkan oleh Christian Gottfried Daniel Nees von Esenbeck pada tahun 1961.
