Mapania sylvatica subsp. gabonica adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Gabon. Nama ilmiah Mapania sylvatica subsp. gabonica diperkenalkan oleh Henri Chermezon pada tahun 1989.
