Mappia longipes merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Icacinaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Meksiko (Veracruz, Chiapas). Nama ilmiah Mappia longipes pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Cyrus Longworth Lundell pada tahun 1942.
