Mareya micrantha merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Afrika barat dan barat-tengah. Nama ilmiah Mareya micrantha pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Bentham pada tahun 1866.
