Marsilea ancylopoda merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Marsileaceae yang dapat tumbuh di media yang tergenang air (helofit). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis dan subtropis Amerika . Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan tropical waterclover. Nama ilmiah Marsilea ancylopoda diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Alexander Karl Heinrich Braun pada tahun 1864.
