Marsippospermum grandiflorum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Juncaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Chili selatan-tengah hingga Kepulauan Falkland. Nama ilmiah Marsippospermum grandiflorum diperkenalkan oleh Carl Linnaeus the Younger pada tahun 1843.
