Marsippospermum reichei merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Juncaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Chili selatan hingga Argentina selatan. Nama ilmiah Marsippospermum reichei pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Franz Georg Philipp Buchenau pada tahun 1901.
