Masdevallia amplexa merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Peru. Nama ilmiah Masdevallia amplexa diperkenalkan oleh Carlyle A. Luer pada tahun 1997.
