Masdevallia scandens merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Bolivia. Nama ilmiah Masdevallia scandens diperkenalkan oleh Robert Allen Rolfe pada tahun 1907.
