Matelea decipiens merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Apocynaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian tengah dan tenggara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan oldfield milkvine. Nama ilmiah Matelea decipiens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Edward Johnston Alexander pada tahun 1941.
