Matelea flavidula merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Apocynaceae yang memiliki pola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian tenggara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan yellow carolina milkvine. Nama ilmiah Matelea flavidula pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Alvan Wentworth Chapman pada tahun 1941.
