Matelea nipensis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Apocynaceae yang memiliki pola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kuba timur (Sierra de Nipe). Nama ilmiah Matelea nipensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ignatz Urban pada tahun 1941.
