Matricaria occidentalis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Tibet selatan hingga China (Sichuan, Yunnan dan Hubei). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan valley mayweed. Nama ilmiah Matricaria occidentalis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Edward Lee Greene pada tahun 1886.
