Matucana formosa merupakan tumbuhan sukulen berbentuk perdu kecil dari famili Cactaceae (suku kaktus-kaktusan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Peru. Nama ilmiah Matucana formosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Friedrich Ritter pada tahun 1963.
