Matucana paucicostata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan sukulen berbentuk perdu kecil dari famili Cactaceae (suku kaktus-kaktusan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Peru. Nama ilmiah Matucana paucicostata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Friedrich Ritter pada tahun 1963.
