Maytenus chasei adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Celastraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Zimbabwe timur hingga Mozambique. Nama ilmiah Maytenus chasei pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Norman Keith Bonner Robson pada tahun 1965.
