Maytenus corei merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Celastraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kolombia. Nama ilmiah Maytenus corei pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Cyrus Longworth Lundell pada tahun 1970.
