PUERTO RICO MAYTEN Maytenuselongata (Urb.) Britton
Maytenus elongata merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Celastraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Puerto Rico. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan puerto rico mayten. Nama ilmiah Maytenus elongata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ignatz Urban pada tahun 1924.
