Maytenus monticola merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Celastraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Trinidad. Nama ilmiah Maytenus monticola pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Noel Yvri Sandwith pada tahun 1930.
