Maytenus peruana merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Celastraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Peru hingga Bolivia. Nama ilmiah Maytenus peruana pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ludwig Eduard Theodor Loesener pada tahun 2014.
