Maytenus purpusii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Celastraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah. Nama ilmiah Maytenus purpusii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Cyrus Longworth Lundell pada tahun 1938.
