Maytenus vexata merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Celastraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kolombia (Nariño), Peru. Nama ilmiah Maytenus vexata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Isaac Briquet pada tahun 1919.
