Mecardonia procumbens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim atau dwimusim dari famili Plantaginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di kawasan tropis dan subtropis Amerika . Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan baby jump-up. Nama ilmiah Mecardonia procumbens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Philip Miller pada tahun 1903.
