Mecomischus halimifolius adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Maroko selatan hingga Aljazair selatan. Nama ilmiah Mecomischus halimifolius pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Bénédict Pierre Georges Hochreutiner pada tahun 1904.
