Meconopsis simikotensis merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Papaveraceae yang memiliki siklus reproduktif hanya sekali seumur hidupnya (monokarpip). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim dingin (subalpin atau subarktik) di wilayah Nepal barat laut. Nama ilmiah Meconopsis simikotensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Christopher Grey-Wilson pada tahun 2006.
