Medicago plicata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Türkiye selatan-tengah. Nama ilmiah Medicago plicata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Pierre Edmond Boissier pada tahun 1928.
