Medinilla cordifolia merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Melastomataceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Madagaskar. Nama ilmiah Medinilla cordifolia pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Gilbert Baker pada tahun 1951.
