Medinilla plumosa merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Melastomataceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Papua. Nama ilmiah Medinilla plumosa diperkenalkan oleh Rudolf Mansfeld pada tahun 1925.
