Medinilla scortechinii merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Melastomataceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Semenanjung Malaysia. Nama ilmiah Medinilla scortechinii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George King pada tahun 1900.
