Megalochlamys revoluta subsp. cognata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Zimbabwe selatanhingga Limpopo. Nama ilmiah Megalochlamys revoluta subsp. cognata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nicholas Edward Brown pada tahun 1989.
