Melampyrum chinense merupakan tumbuhan hemiparasit berumur semusim dari famili Orobanchaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah China (Sichuan selatan, Yunnan barat laut, Guizhou). Nama ilmiah Melampyrum chinense pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Anders Dahl pada tahun 1912.
