Melanortocarya obtusifolia adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Nama ilmiah Melanortocarya obtusifolia pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Ludwig von Willdenow pada tahun 2006.
