Melasma strictum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan hemiparasit dari famili Orobanchaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kolombia, Venezuela barat laut, Bolivia, hingga Argentina (Corrientes). Nama ilmiah Melasma strictum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Bentham pada tahun 1912.
