Melastoma tetramerum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Melastomataceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Ogasawara-shoto (Chichi-jima, Ani-jima). Nama ilmiah Melastoma tetramerum diperkenalkan oleh Bunzō Hayata pada tahun 1913.
