Melicope aequata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Rutaceae (suku jeruk-jerukan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Papua New Guinea hingga Kepulauan Bismarck. Nama ilmiah Melicope aequata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Thomas Gordon Hartley pada tahun 2001.
