Melicope reflexa merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Rutaceae (suku jeruk-jerukan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kepulauan Hawaii (Molokai timur). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan lava melicope. Nama ilmiah Melicope reflexa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Harold St. John pada tahun 1989.
