Melicope spathulata merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Rutaceae (suku jeruk-jerukan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kepulauan Hawaii. Nama ilmiah Melicope spathulata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Asa Gray pada tahun 1854.
