Melicope waialealae merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Rutaceae (suku jeruk-jerukan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kepulauan Hawaii. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan alani wai. Nama ilmiah Melicope waialealae diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Heinrich Wawra von Fernsee pada tahun 1989.
