Melicytus alpinus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Violaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Pulau Selatan Selandia Baru. Nama ilmiah Melicytus alpinus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Thomas Kirk pada tahun 1987.
