Melilotus infestus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Baleares, Italia, Yunani (Kepulauan Ionia), hingga Afrika barat laut. Nama ilmiah Melilotus infestus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Giovanni Gussone pada tahun 1828.
