Melocactus andinus subsp. hernandezii merupakan tumbuhan sukulen berbentuk perdu kecil dari famili Cactaceae (suku kaktus-kaktusan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Kolombia (Boyacá). Nama ilmiah Melocactus andinus subsp. hernandezii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis José Luis Fernández Alonso pada tahun 2003.
