Melocactus bellavistensis subsp. onychacanthus merupakan tumbuhan sukulen berbentuk perdu kecil dari famili Cactaceae (suku kaktus-kaktusan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Peru. Nama ilmiah Melocactus bellavistensis subsp. onychacanthus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Friedrich Ritter pada tahun 1991.
